What We Do

The primary objectives of the the Glenbard East Fine Arts Boosters (GEFAB) are to help support all of the activities in music, art, theatre, and film production. Your membership helps fund the “extras” that make the Fine Arts Experience at East so special to our students. Through membership and fundraising GEFAB provides lesson scholarships, college scholarships, field trip assistance, and support for events throughout the year. GEFAB volunteers help with marching band and concert uniforms, theatre production builds and performances, as well as hospitality at events.

GEFAB projects include:

• Renovation of the practice rooms with new digital pianos

• The annual gRAMmys music awards event

• Thousands of dollars in scholarship money per year for music students

Fundraisers

We offer a number of fundraisers! Our fundraisers are designed to help the program and students as much as possible while minimizing the hassle and time demand on our families. Stay tuned for news regarding upcoming fundraisers.

Meetings

GEFAB Executive Board meetings are held roughly once per quarter. These meetings are open to GEFAB members, music families, and the general public. Stay tuned for announcements of upcoming meetings.
